Dungannon Park Lake Fishery is owned and managed by Dungannon & south Tyrone Borough Council and is Tyrone’s Premier Troutmaster Water. It is a 13 acre stream fed lake retained by an impressive 18th century dam. The lake is open all year round stocked weekly with rainbow trout and provides challenging boat, bank and stand angling.
In 2008, Dungannon Park Lake Fishery will be offering a wide range of affordable learn to fly fish opportunities. These include a series of organised courses in fly fishing and fly tying. Specially tailored one-to-one, group and family tuition sessions given by an in-house instructor plus a weeklong summer angling school for juniors aged between 11-18 years. This will be followed by weekly junior angling sessions throughout July and August. All angling equipment is supplied.
